Paula has worked in both the private and public sector in an administrative capacity for more than eight years, including two years’ experience working in the Department of Social Protection where one of her responsibilities was working on the Ukrainian response. She spent six years working across various disciplines in the caring profession, including working within early childhood education, in youth work, and with the homeless sector. The voice of the child was central to her studies in the University of Galway where she obtained a first-class honours degree in the BA with Children’s Studies programme in 2021. Her studies and experience have provided her with a solid basis in order to undertake the complex and sensitive nature of the work involved in the work of ODAIT.
