Oran Finegan is the former Head of Forensics for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), founder and director of Forensic Action International Limited, and has been working in the humanitarian sector for more than 25 years. He holds a degree in Anatomy, and Master’s degrees in Forensic Anthropology, and in Human Rights and Political Theory, and has worked with the United Nations (UN) International Crimes Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in the Balkans (1998 and 2001), UN Office on Missing Persons and Forensics in Kosovo (2002 and 2006), UN Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus. From 2008-2023 Oran worked with the ICRC globally and led its worldwide forensic operations from 2017-2021.
